A+ certificate
Using our unique instructor led video software to tailor the
training to your needs, the course takes you from an understanding of the
basics of Operating Systems, to installing, configuring, and upgrading
Windows 2000 and Windows XP. And at the end, you'll earn a
nationally-recognised qualification.
Pre-requisites
You should have basic PC skills and be familiar with Windows
applications and Explorer. If you don't have these skills we recommend you
study our ECDL or PC Basics course first.
The minimum system spec required to run our CD-ROMs is: PC with a
Pentium III with 600 MHz or better with a minimum of 128
MB RAM. The PC should be running Microsoft Windows 98 or later. Microsoft
Internet Explorer 5.0 with Service Pack 2 or higher. For audio, MPCI
compliant sound card with speakers or headphones.

You'll have access to the ICS online Student Community, where you can
interact with other students, browse our resource library and take part in
surveys.
Assessment
To gain A+ Certification you must pass the A+ Essentials (220-601) and
A+ Core Specialist (220-602) exams, which will be administered
by a testing centre near to your home. Please note exam fees are
additional to course fees.
